How can I find help for myself or someone else?

You can find services that meet your needs by using any of the following methods: search by Topics, search by Names, search by Keywords, search by Taxonomy Terms, search by "special topics", search by "hot topics"

All of the search options can be accessed by clicking the Start a Search button on the Home tab - or in the case of special topics, clicking one of the links in the Special Topics panel on the Home tab.

What kinds of resources are available in this directory?

The resource database contains information on the community services individuals and communities need to sustain and improve their daily lives--health care and childcare, job training, education and recreation, retirement, disability and social service information. This directory contains information on nonprofit and public health and human service programs and some for-profit programs such as housing.

How can I make the text larger or smaller?

At the top right corner of every page you'll find a "Text Size" control. Select one of the options in the drop down list, and then click the "Change" button. The screen will refresh in the selected text size. You can change the text size at any time during your visit to the site.

Whenever you return to the site, text will be displayed in the size you chose during your last visit.

How can I view more details about a service I see in the Search Results list?

Click on the service name in the service list. All the details about the selected service will be displayed.

How can I e-mail a list of services I found on this web site?

On the Search Results page

1. Click the "Email" link in the results header.

2. Fill out the email form.

3. Click the "Send" button.

The email will include a web link that will take the recipient directly to the list of services you are viewing.

From the "My Pages" area

If you are signed in to your personal account within the web site you can print a list of services that you've saved as part of a Plan you created.

1. In the "My Saved Resources" pane, click the "My Saved Plans" link.

2. Click on the View button next to a Plan Name.

3. Click on the "Programs" tab.

4. Click the "Email" link in the results header.

5. Fill out the email form.

6. Click the "Send" button.

How can I save resources I've found on this web site?

You can save any resources you find on this web site by creating a private and secure user account. When you've done that you can save as many resources as you like. Each time you sign in to the web site you'll be able view any of your saved resources and add more.

If you haven't already created a user account, go to the registration page. If you already have a user account and would like to sign in now, go to the sign in page.

To save any number of services from the Search Results list, click inside the checkboxes in the left-most column for each of the services you want to save. Then click the "Save Checked" button.

You can also save a service from the Service Details page by clicking the "Save Resource" button.

What if I see incorrect information?

If you know that information about a service is incorrect or has changed, please let us know by using the "Report Problem" button at the top or bottom of the service details page, or by e-mailing our data maintenance team at mnhelpdata@tcaging.org .
