Funds are typically used to pay for natural gas, oil, propane, and electricity.
This program is used by:
* Low-income seniors
* People with a disability that prevents them from maintaining a steady income
* Anybody experiencing an unexpected financial emergency
Assistance is offered as funding is available.

Serves residents of Chippewa, Kandiyohi, Meeker, Redwood, Renville, Swift, and Yellow Medicine Counties
To qualify, applicants must have:
* Received a final shut off notice
* Exhausted all other energy assistance funds
* Had a critical event (crisis or emergency) that has prevented them from paying the bill
